Reasons to Use Cash Payment

This study aims to find out the factors influencing use of cash-payment in Yogyakarta. The object this research is Super Indo as one biggest markets Yogyakarta which people usually used for shopping. It uses quantitative approach through distributing questionnaire. data obtained on 100 samples with specification above 17 years old and time frequency more than once a week purchase market. processed by using multiple linear regressions. There are four independent variables within namely, manageable, flexibility, transaction volume charge non-cash payment while dependent variable cash usage. As result, shows that all have influence simultaneously towards usage variable, whereas t test, only two affect positive significantly against usage, no fees. Overall, provides important information central bank, although system has been developed, people-especially Yogyakarta-still prefer their daily transaction. purposed methodology general can be applied other region order differences payment.
